The Pro Compound is one of Galfer's most aggressive bicycle brake pads. This compound is often used for racing, has an immense amount of braking power, will withstand mud and dirt, and has a high resistance to fade. Because of the aggressive nature of this pad, it may wear out faster than Galfer's Standard Compound under heavy use.
